A LIFETIME OF SHOWING UP. READY TO SERVE.
For more than 30 years, La Palma has been where I've raised my family, volunteered in our schools, served our community and built lifelong friendships.
My commitment to La Palma didn't begin with this campaign. Now, I'm ready to serve in a new way.
PROTECT WHAT MAKES LA PALMA SPECIAL.
PLAN FOR WHAT COMES NEXT.
La Palma isn't just where we live. It's home.
My family moved to La Palma in 1994. We originally came because we knew people here, but it didn't take long for this community to become our home.
There's something special about La Palma. We're less than two square miles in the middle of Orange County, yet we've maintained a sense of community that's increasingly hard to find. We have our own Civic Center, police department, library, Central Park, local businesses, schools and traditions that bring neighbors together year after year.
My three children grew up here. They attended Los Coyotes Elementary, Walker Junior High and Kennedy High School. Through school, sports, activities and volunteering, our family has built relationships that made this city feel like much more than the place where we happened to live.
We moved here because we knew people.
We stayed here because La Palma became home.
That's the La Palma I want future generations to experience.
Protect what makes La Palma special.
Plan for what comes next.
I love La Palma as it is today.
I love that families can enjoy our parks and community events. I love that neighbors know one another. I love our small-town atmosphere in the middle of Orange County.
I want to protect that.
But protecting what we love doesn't mean standing still.
I believe experience helps us understand what works, while good leadership requires us to thoughtfully consider what comes next.
Progress should have a purpose.
When new technologies, ideas or solutions can make La Palma safer, stronger, more efficient or more connected, we should be willing to consider them.
Will this make life better for the people of La Palma?
My Priorities
Safe Neighborhoods & Streets
Protect the safety we value. Prepare for the challenges ahead.
Creating a community where children can travel safely to and from school, seniors can enjoy their morning walks, families can enjoy our parks and neighborhoods, and residents feel confident in the public safety professionals who serve them.
A Connected Community
Local government should feel accessible to the people it serves.
I want residents to feel comfortable approaching me with a concern or question. I will listen, help find answers and make sure people understand how they can participate in their city.
Families & Quality of Life
Keeping La Palma a place where families can put down roots and thrive.
Safe neighborhoods, parks, a strong library, community programs, events and thoughtful partnerships all contribute to the quality of life families experience here.
Responsible City Government
Take care of the essentials. Spend where it matters most.
Safe drinking water, streets, infrastructure, public safety and reliable city services are fundamental responsibilities. City resources should be used thoughtfully and where they can provide meaningful benefits across our community.
Proven Commitment. Thoughtful Progress.
More than 30 years in La Palma has given me the opportunity to watch this community grow and change.
I've experienced La Palma as a parent, school volunteer, community volunteer, local school district employee, committee member, neighbor and grandmother.
That experience gives me perspective.
But experience doesn't mean being afraid of change.
I believe good leadership requires both: enough experience to recognize what's worth preserving and enough openness to consider how we can do better.
